A delightful location to camp here at Buchanan Lake is Twin Harbor RV Park and Campground, and a nice close by hotel is Thumper Pond Resort. While you're here at Buchanan Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Fergus Falls; a lake nearby is Donalds Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is       available at Rush Lake Tent and Trailer Camp, and if you're a golfer then a pleasant nearby course is Thumper Pond Golf Course. And if that's not enough, there's plenty more to do next to Buchanan Lake. You could also go to Long Lake while you're here at Buchanan Lake; it's close by. All through the warm months at Buchanan Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's; the night is a tad chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the winter this place                  gets highs in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Buchanan Lake.
