Browns Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Jordan Koa Kampground is a pleasant local campground; Ruehlings Pond Dam is a pretty location, without doubt worth stopping at. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel -Waconia/Mpls/St.Paul Area is a perfect place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Browns Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Minneapolis Southwest       KOA is a tremendous site for that. Browns Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Valley View Golf Club is always a delight, and a perfect nearby hotel is Americinn - Belle Plaine, Mn. Browns Lake is not the only place close by, Hallquist Lake is a close by lake, and if you've had enough                  of Browns Lake, Ruehlings Pond is nearby. At Browns Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Browns Lake.
