While you're here at Brown Lake you can take a hike along the Nicolet Trail, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Bemidji is a great place to spend a night or two. Stay the night at Spruce Hill Campgrounds, and Buena Vista is a very popular ski area close by. For the duration of the days of summer at Brown Lake highs are commonly in the 70's, and the       night is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Brown Lake. At Brown Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month. Brown Lake truly is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Brown Lake has to                  offer, you can camp at Royal Oaks RV Park, and if you've had enough of Brown Lake, Hubbard Lake is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Brokaw Lake if you're here at Brown Lake; it's nearby; going for a hike along the Desoto Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful.
