Bower Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Go for a hike on the Stingy Lake Trail; there's whitewater on Sturgeon River for all you adrenaline junkies. C C Campground 717 is a good campground nearby; if you need a site to stay Hibbing Park Hotel is a fine choice. You simply have to have a thing about the Mesabi Range. Don't leave Bower Lake without first going for a hike along the Link Lake Trail.

If you came for an overnight stay Stony Brook Campground is a brilliant location to camp, and Hibbing Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest. Bower Lake is located in the Mesabi Range. This lake is so wonderful. Stingy Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and you can run the rapids of Little Fork River.

at Bower Lake. If you get bored of Bower Lake, you could also go to close by Prairie Lake; there's nice hiking along the Snake Trail. High temperatures at Bower Lake throughout the summertime are in the 70's; through summer nights
temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Bower Lake. Bower Lake gets a normal amount of rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February.

At our convenience store you'll be able to pick up basic groceries, ice cream, pizzas, snacks, ice, fishing licenses, tackle, and night crawlers. We also carry unleaded gas and motor oil. We have hiking trails up through the woods and a playground for the little ones. The paved Central Lakes Trail goes right by us, so bring your bikes. Our paddleboats, kayaks and canoes are free ... |
