Hiking along the Turtle Mound Trail is brilliant fun, and unsurprisingly Spring Lake Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth going to. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are truly abundant here at Border Impoundment. Do stop at East Lake near Border Impoundment, it's a beautiful lake, and if you came to camp Timber Creek Camp is a good location       to do that. A normal amount of rain falls here at Border Impoundment; the month with most of the rain is June while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the warmest time of the year here at Border Impoundment, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Border Impoundment. This lake is so wonderful.                  Border Impoundment is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Jessie View Resort and RV Campground is a fine local campground; a scenic lake like East Lake Impoundment is a great place to take a look at.
