During the summertime months at Border Impoundment temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's while Border Impoundment night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the-10's. Hiking along the Spur Lake Trail System is perfect fun, and you'll discover a beautiful lake called East Lake. This lake       is so wonderful. Lakes are such calm sites, why not stop by East Lake Impoundment near Border Impoundment, and Border Impoundment is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Timber Creek Camp is a magnificent local campground. Border Impoundment truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Some of the water nearby flows, like Spring Lake Creek, and a magnificent place to camp here at Border Impoundment is Jessie View Resort and RV Campground.                  From a rain point of view Border Impoundment is a rather normal place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February. East Lake Dam is pretty and it's close to Border Impoundment, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Turtle Mound Trail.
