The annual precipitation here at Border Impoundment is about average; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Don't forget to take a tremendous little journey to Spring Lake Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Wendigo Lodge Golf Conference. Through the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Border Impoundment, and all through summer nights temperatures are       in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Border Impoundment. Border Impoundment is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Timber Creek Camp is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and there are great places to discover along the Spur Lake Trail System. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Jessie View Resort and RV Campground, and don't leave Border Impoundment without first going                  for a hike along the Plum Creek Trail. What a location this is for outdoors folks.
