High temperatures at Borden Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Borden Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. Good hiking is available along the Switzerland Trail, and dry warm beds       await you at Ruttgers Bay Lake Lodge. Having a tremendous time at Borden Lake is trouble-free. Pike Point is not far from Borden Lake at all, and after a long day outdoors Garrison Inn and Suites is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Borden Lake; Wilderness Of Minnesota is a great campground nearby. The yearly rain here at Borden Lake is about average;                  all through June this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month. Lakes?
