Not much precipitation falls here at Booth Lake; June is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. At Chippewa Dam right next door to Booth Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and a wonderful lake like Chippewa Lake is a wonderful       spot to go to. If you need a location to stay The Lodge on Lake Detroit is a great choice, and do take a hike on the East Bad Medicine Trail. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do in close proximity to Booth Lake. Hiking along the Little Scenic Trail is nice fun. Tamarac Resort and Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and do stop at Johnson Lake, it's a wonderful lake. For the duration of the summer at Booth Lake highs are usually in                  the 80's, and the night is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 50's.
