     If you like swamps, you're in luck, Blue Lake is right close by, and if you need a spot to stay Americinn - Pequot Lakes, Mn is a delightful choice. Boiler Lake gets very little rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. Boiler Lake really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. You could also stop at Lone Pine Lake since you're here at Boiler Lake; it's close by, and Boiler Lake is  
   not the only spot close by, Big Stone Lake is a close by lake.
At Boiler Lake you always meet someone from Brainerd, and a good site to camp here at Boiler Lake is Fifty Lakes Campground. Summertime at Boiler Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and nighttime lows at Boiler Lake through the winter typically descend into the-10's. This lake
 
               is so wonderful. Why not camp at Highview Campgrounds since you're here at Boiler Lake, and the Goose Lake Trail System offers hiking at its best.

...f our favorite Minnesota campgrounds and we stay here several times each summer. We love that it is right on a lake and that many of the sites have their own little beach. The campground is quiet and the sites˙ are screened from one another for privacy. I hate to even post a review out of the fear that our favorite camping secret will become everyone's camping favorite. It is close enough to Longville˙ and Remer that you can run in for ice and supplies as needed. One small hint that I will pass on is that you might want to stop in Longville or Hackensack to buy your˙ firewood as the campground does not have any for sale.Mabel Lake campground is not on a campsite reservation system but we have never had a problem finding a site here. We discovered this campground as a result of finding one of the more popular Leech Lake campgrounds full. Once we found Mabel Lake, we never bothered with the other campgrounds in the area again.
