Blue Jay Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. A nice forest in the neighborhood of Blue Jay Lake is Minnesota State Forest, and why not take a little tour to Blue Jay Creek while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Boze Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Kawishiwi Lake Campground is a great site to camp.                  Throughout the warm months at Blue Jay Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 10's while Blue Jay Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the-10's.
