This lake is so wonderful. Arrowwood Resort And Conference Center is a good place to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Arken Lake is in the neighborhood. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Block Lake. Not far from Block Lake, you'll locate Stemmer Lake which is a lovely lake. Block Lake Dam has glorious water scenery and       it's close to Block Lake; since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Alexandria. A nice close by hotel is Thumper Pond Resort, and Block Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Lucky Acres Campgrounds is a delightful local campground. Through the long summer days at Block Lake highs are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and nighttime lows at Block Lake                  all through the winter usually descend into the-10's.
