A magnificent close by hotel is Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids, and do visit Ruby Lake, it's a lovely lake. The amount of rainfall that falls at Blind Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Blind Lake, so little time. There's so much to       do here at Blind Lake that you need to camp here for a while, North Star Campground is a perfect place for that. You'll hit upon a picturesque lake called Charlie Lake near Blind Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Blind Lake; Suomi Hills Trail System is a splendid local trail. High temperatures at Blind Lake during the warm months are in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in                  the 10's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Blind Lake temperatures descend to the-20's. This lake is so wonderful.
