Stay the night at Cedar Crest Resort; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Fosston is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Around Blair Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn By Carlson Detroit Lakes. Blair Lake is a good spot to visit for more than one day, New Horizon Resort and Lodge is a good spot to camp nearby,

For the period of the summer highs here at Blair Lake reach the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Union Lake Campground is a nice place, but does not cater to the weekend camper. Unless you have a boat, there is nothing to do except sit around the fire and drink. The seasonal campers are friendly and welcome company for a chat. The bath house has been updated and is better, but there is a charge for showering, (...) The managers are fairly strict, (...) - and you can't blame them! Book well ahead of time if you want a weekend spot!!!!...Union Lake Sarah campground is nice and clean and quiet.It could use more weekend electrical sites. Mgr Joel is adorable, but his wife Char could use some fine tuning in the PR area. They both need to quit smoking for their own good.The seasonal campers are most friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back!!!... |
