From a precipitation point of view Blacks Lake is a reasonably typical site; most of the rain falls through June; the driest month is February. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Blacks Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are usually in the 10's; nighttime lows through       the wintertime for Blacks Lake tend to be in the-10's. There are other spots here than Blacks Lake, for example Lake Mitchell, and camping at Shady River Campgrounds is always a wonderful experience. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Chelsea Inn & Suites is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and Beulah Pond is a swamp right next door to Blacks Lake. Having a brilliant time at Blacks Lake is uncomplicated. Camping is available                  at RiversEdge RV Park.
