J Robinson Intensive Camps is a glorious local campground; if you need a site to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Bloomington at Mall of America is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Blackdog Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most       rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Blackdog Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Blackdog Lake. This lake is so wonderful. People from Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington love to come to Blackdog Lake, and if you're a golfer                  then a delightful nearby course is Hiawatha Golf Course. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Blackdog Lake is a splendid location to visit for more than one day, Lowry Grove is a splendid location to camp nearby, and needless to say, all our national parks are brilliant places to have a look at and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is no exception. Skiing at Buck Hill is one of those things you just should do; not far from Blackdog Lake you'll hit upon Long Meadow Lake which is a lovely lake.
