During the warmest time of the year here at Black Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Black Lake. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Salt Lake close to Black Lake, and why not take a refreshing       hike along the Taconite Trail. Very picturesque scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Giants Ridge, and in the vicinity of Black Lake you find a golf course called Eshquaguma Country Club. So much amusing stuff to do at Black Lake, so little time. Black Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Sherwood Forest Campground is a great local campground, and there are plenty of folks from Duluth here. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Eveleth                  is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a gorgeous lake called Cedar Island Lake near Black Lake, and if you came to camp Gilbert Sherwood Forest is a wonderful place to do that.
