This lake is so wonderful. Disappointment Lake is a great lake close to Birdsey Lake, and going for a hike on the Old Pines Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Do schedule some time to check out North Bay right next door to Birdsey Lake if you have a chance, and there are other sites       here than Birdsey Lake, for example Vivid Lake. From a rainfall point of view Birdsey Lake is a reasonably normal location; through June this area sees the most rain while February is usually the driest month. A tremendous close by hotel is Americinn Silver Bay; Little Isabella River Campground is a fine local campground. Having a great time at Birdsey Lake is simple. Go for a hike on the Snowbank Trail. Through the summer months at Birdsey Lake temperatures                  are frequently in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's.
