Birch Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Island Campground is a good local campground, and golf can be played at Red Wing Golf Club. If you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Red Wing is a magnificent choice, and Afton Alps is a great local ski area. A swamp like Buffalo Slough in the vicinity of Birch Lake has lots of out of the ordinary things to see; why not camp at Mr Sippi Yacht Brokerage Bar if you're here at Birch Lake.
