A forest next to Billys Lake is Saint Croix State Forest, and why not stop by Hay Creek Dam if you're here. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Don't forget to take a great little tour to Hay Creek, and you can run the rapids of Upper Tamarack River. This lake is so wonderful. Churchill Lake is a nice lake near Billys Lake. There are       other places here than Billys Lake, for example Rock Lake, and do take a hike on the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Billys Lake; through June this area sees the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. During the summertime at Billys Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 10's; winter nights come with                  lows in the-10's to Billys Lake.
