This lake is located in the wonderful Mesabi Range. A common amount of rainfall falls here
at Big Rice Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Pfeifer Lake Campground is always a glorious experience, and do take a hike on the Canfield Portage.
