Big Pine Lake is a nice lake to visit. Good hiking is available along the Giese Truck Trail; Bremen Woods Resort and Campground is a splendid local campground. There's tremendous hiking along the East White Pine Truck Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Waldheim Resort is a pleasant site to camp. Big Pine Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

| | If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Big Pine Lake. Get wet paddling on Snake River, and dry warm beds await you at Hinckley-Days Inn. Go for a hike on the Herubin Truck Trail, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge Hinckley is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
