Good hiking is available along the Giese Truck Trail; Bremen Woods Resort and Campground is a splendid local campground. There's tremendous hiking along the East White Pine Truck Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Waldheim Resort is a pleasant site to camp. Big Pine Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.       If you fancy the outdoors, you'll love Big Pine Lake. Get wet paddling on Snake River, and dry warm beds await you at Hinckley-Days Inn. Go for a hike on the Herubin Truck Trail, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge Hinckley is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Kettle River, and there's always Big Pine Lake Dam to pop by right next door to Big Pine Lake. Throughout the summertime months,                  highs frequently are in the 80's at Big Pine Lake while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
