Have a glorious hiking adventure along the East White Pine Truck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Travelodge Hinckley, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Herubin Truck Trail. Hinckley-Days Inn is a good site to get some rest, and lakes are such calm locations, why not go to Big Pine Lake. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can explore Big Pine Lake Dam, and       do take a hike on the Giese Truck Trail. There's whitewater on Kettle River for all you adrenaline people, and a great spot to camp here at Big Pine Lake is Waldheim Resort. Summertime highs at Big Pine Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 10's, and overnight lows through the winter for Big Pine Lake tend to be in the-10's. Big Pine Lake gets a normal amount of rain; June is                  the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February.
