Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Big Marine Lake rocks! Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites STILLWATER, and if you're looking for a tremendous visit, Saint Croix National Scenic River is pretty near. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a tremendous spot       to spend a night or two, and Wild Mountain has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Big Marine Lake, for example Long Lake, and Big Marine Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Acres is a tremendous local campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend St. Croix River, and camping at Whispering Bay Resort is always a great experience.                  Lakes? Sure, Fish Lake is around here, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. The warmest time of the year at Big Marine Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Big Marine Lake temperatures sink to the 0's.
