Nearby lakes? Sure, Whitefish Lake is next to Besho Lake; if you need a place to stay Caribou Highlands Lodge is a nice choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Besho Lake. There's delightful hiking along the Powwoun Trail, and Cross River Number Three Dam is a lovely place. This lake is so wonderful. If       you came for an overnight stay Ninemile Campground is a great place to camp, and there are some great whitewater spots on Cross River. From a precipitation point of view Besho Lake is a relatively common spot; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. Kawishiwi Lake Campground is a splendid campground nearby, unsurprisingly you could also have a look at Tord Lake since you're here; it's not                  far at all. Don't leave Besho Lake without first going for a hike along the Kekekabic Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Two Island River. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Honeymoon Trail. Throughout the summertime here at Besho Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's.
