I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Beaver Lake. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Little Fork River, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Mt Iron, Mn is a nice choice. And if that's not enough there's a lot more enjoyable things to do in the Mesabi Range. Going for a hike on the Taconite Trail is always a good adventure, and if you want to play some       golf, you're in luck because Wolfridge Golf Course is in the neighborhood. Beaver Lake gets a typical amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Sturgeon River close to Beaver Lake, and a gorgeous lake like Candle Lake is a delightful location to visit. Through the long summer days, highs generally are                  in the 70's at Beaver Lake; the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 10's, and night lows through the winter for Beaver Lake tend to be in the-10's. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more exciting things to do here in the Mesabi Range. Beaver Lake is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Mesaba Co-Op Park is a fine site to camp nearby, and lakes are such calm places, why not take a look at Lake Leander.
