Beatty Lake is a good site of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls through June, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This is a pleasant region for people who like lakes. Norway Lake is a lake close at hand. There's so much to do here at Beatty Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Jeanette Campground is a magnificent place for that. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking       along the Canfield Portage; glide down the rapids of Vermilion River in a kayak. Go for a hike on the Beatty Portage; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Little Loon Lake. Don't leave Beatty Lake without first going for a hike along the Echo Trail, and if you came to camp Sioux River Campground is a good spot to do that. During the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Beatty Lake while nighttime                  lows are mostly in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 10's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Beatty Lake descend into the-20's. Beatty Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise.
