During the warm days of summer at Bear Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Bear Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Echo Trail is always a glorious adventure, and if you need a place to stay       Lodge At Giants Ridge is a delightful choice. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Bear Lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Giants Ridge is near Bear Lake, and Bear Lake is a great location to visit for more than one day, Hoodoo Point Campground is a great location to camp nearby. Mc Kinley Park Campground is a brilliant campground nearby; there are pleasant places to discover along the Stuart Portage. The amount                  of rainfall that falls at Bear Lake is close to the national average; through June this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
