Bear Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Bear Lake is right by the Echo Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Mc Kinley Park Campground is a good location to camp. Really nice skiing awaits you at Giants Ridge, and Phantom Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. Hiking along the Stuart Portage is nice fun, and since you're here, you could also explore beautiful Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Bear Lake.
