Battle Lake is right by the Lost '40' Trail, and Americinn - Blackduck, Mn is a good place to get some rest. The Camp Rabideau CCC Trail offers hiking at its best, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Bemidji for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Rogers' Campground and R.V. Park, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Battle Lake; Elmwood Island Trail System is a good       local trail. Camping at Kitchie Landing Resort is always a great experience. High temperatures at Battle Lake all through the summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are usually in the 10's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Battle Lake tend to be in the-10's.
