Going for a hike on the Skeeter Lake Trail System is always a perfect adventure, and not far from Batson Lake you'll stumble on Bevo Lake which is a beautiful lake. From a rainfall point of view Batson Lake is a relatively normal site; July is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is February. Batson Lake is great enough to spend more than a day       at, Spider Shores Resort is a great local campground; Johnson Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out. Throughout the warm days of summer here at Batson Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Batson Lake fall into the-20's. You definitely should                  go for Batson Lake. You can run the rapids of Big Fork near Batson Lake. Near Batson Lake you come across the Suomi Hills Trail System which is a perfect hiking trail, and a magnificent close by hotel is Antler Lake Store & Motel.
