Whitewater paddling is perfect on Sauk River. Bass Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Whispering Pines Golf Course is in the neighborhood, and Bass Lake is a tremendous spot to camp, AJ Acres Campground       is a tremendous spot. After a long day outdoors Americinn Lodge & Suites is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at A-J Acres Campground. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Bass Lake reach the 80's, and the overnight is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bass Lake. Mississippi River has a great whitewater                  paddling spot nearby; hey, Gotta ski right? Powder Ridge is a wonderful spot to do that.
