This lake is so wonderful. Bass Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Golden Acres is a splendid local campground, and a splendid nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites STILLWATER. Bass Lake truly is in the middle of a stunning outdoors paradise. The snow is pleasant at Wild Mountain, and whitewater       paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Apple River. Bass Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February. A perfect place to camp here at Bass Lake is Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sawmill Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Bass Lake, you'll find Staples Lake                  which is a stunning lake. Lakes are perfect; West Boot Lake is a lake that's near Bass Lake. Get your heart beating on the tremendous whitewater of St. Croix River, and Mississippi National River & Recreation Area is one of the destinations that are good to go to nearby. High temperatures at Bass Lake through the long summer days are in the 80's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, typically in the 60's.
