The annual rainfall here at Bass Lake is about average; during June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the vicinity of Bass Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Grand Ely Lodge Resort and Conference Center, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike       along the Stuart Portage. Sandy Point is right next door to Bass Lake and is a wonderful site to stop at, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Crooked Lake Trail. If you come at the right time of year, Stony River offers some brilliant whitewater, and a round of golf at nearby Ely Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful.
