Have a good hiking adventure along the Echo Trail, and do schedule some time to explore Bass Bay if you have a chance. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Giants Ridge, and soar down the rapids of Vermilion River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Stuart Portage will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and naturally Scott Bevier Creek flows through this vicinity. A beautiful lake like

| | Bear Lake near Bass Lake is a wonderful site to stop at, and a tremendous place to camp here at Bass Lake is Mc Kinley Park Campground. Camping is available at Hoodoo Point Campground, and do visit Pine Lake, it's a pretty lake. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Conference Center is a perfect place to spend a night or two. For the period of the summertime months at Bass Lake highs are ordinarily in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. For the duration
of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's with winter lows in the-20's overnight here at Bass Lake. From a rainfall point of view Bass Lake is a relatively normal place; through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is regularly the driest month.
