If you need a location to stay Grand Ely Lodge Resort And Conf Ctr is a nice choice. Bass Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Bass Lake, do take a visit to Bass Bay; dry warm beds await you at Lodge At Giants Ridge. Summertime highs at Bass Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Through       the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Bass Lake temperatures fall to the-20's. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Bass Lake, too great to be true. There is a glorious hiking trail near Bass Lake called the Stuart Portage; Hoodoo Point Campground is a perfect campground nearby. Vermilion River is a wonderful whitewater spot near Bass Lake, and                  Mc Kinley Park Campground is a wonderful local campground. If the weather is perfect here at Bass Lake, you can go for a hike along the Canfield Portage, and hey, Gotta ski right? Giants Ridge is a great spot to do that.
