Go to Bass Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's delightful hiking along the Giese Truck Trail, and Waldheim Resort is a tremendous campground here. Any time is a fine time at Bass Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Paddling on Snake River is so much fun, and if you need a spot to stay Hinckley-Days Inn is a delightful choice. Drift down the rapids of Kettle River in a kayak; you can stay the night at Bremen Woods

Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bass Lake; East White Pine Truck Trail is a wonderful local trail, and there are other places here than Bass Lake, for example Little Lake. At Bass Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Bass Lake | |

plunge into the-10's. The yearly precipitation here at Bass Lake is about average; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. Good hiking is available along the Herubin Truck Trail, and after a long day outdoors Travelodge Hinckley is a great site to spend a night or two.
