Bass Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Snake River, and the Giese Truck Trail offers hiking at its best. An average amount of rain falls at Bass Lake; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Why not take a refreshing hike along the East White Pine Truck Trail.

| | warmed up. After a long day outdoors Travelodge Hinckley is a brilliant location to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Waldheim Resort if you're here at Bass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Kettle River is so much fun, and if you need a site to stay Hinckley-Days Inn is a great choice. Lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Lake Twelve right next door to Bass Lake, and there's great hiking along the Herubin Truck Trail.

come across a striking lake called Little Lake near Bass Lake; Garnet Acres Guest Ranch is a good local campground. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Bass Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Bass Lake.
