Bass Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. And that's not all you can do here at Bass Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bass Lake; East White Pine Truck Trail is a pleasant local trail. Summer at Bass Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's with temperatures at Bass Lake dipping

| | down into the-10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Hinckley-Days Inn is a glorious choice, and camping is available at Garnet Acres Guest Ranch. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Snake River, and a perfect place to camp here at Bass Lake is Waldheim Resort. Bass Lake gets a common amount of rain; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Good hiking is available | |

along the Giese Truck Trail; after a long day outdoors Travelodge Hinckley is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Kettle River; don't leave Bass Lake without first going for a hike along the Herubin Truck Trail.
