The Spur Lake Trail System is a great hiking trail close to Bass Lake, and Gosh Dam Place is a pleasant site to get some rest. So many fun things to do at Bass Lake, so little time. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at O-NE-Gum-Me Campground, and nearby you find the Simpson Creek Trail System which is a delightful hiking trail. The amount of precipitation that falls at Bass Lake is close to       the national average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A brilliant location to camp here at Bass Lake is Noma Lake Campground and Picnic Area, and dry warm beds await you at Hill Motel & Liquor. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Ames Lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Turtle Mound Trail. During the warmest                  time of the year highs here at Bass Lake get into the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
