     On a delightful day at Bass Lake you can take a hike along the Wilson Lake Trail; if you need a location to stay Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is a great choice. A lake nearby is Duck Lake, and there is a magnificent hiking trail close by called the Wasson Lake Trail. The yearly rainfall here at Bass Lake is about average; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.  
   A wonderful place for whitewater paddling near Bass Lake is Big Fork; why not camp at Thistledew Campground since you're here at Bass Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Sucker Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; if you came for an overnight stay Spider Shores Resort is a fine spot to camp. For the duration of the days of summer here at Bass Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall
 
               down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 10's; nighttime lows in the-20's for Bass Lake. Be careful coming to Bass Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Going for a hike on the Valley River Trail is always a great adventure.
