Bass Lake is right by the Wilson Lake Trail, and Big Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Valley River Trail is perfect fun. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thistledew Campground is a nice place for that. Bass Lake is not the only spot nearby, Buck Lake is a nearby lake; Country Inn By Carlson       Grand Rapids is a good site to get some rest. If you love the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Bass Lake. Take a hike on the Wasson Lake Trail. From a precipitation point of view Bass Lake is a rather normal place; June is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Through the summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Bass Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter                  brings highs down to the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-20's for Bass Lake.
