If you are in Itasca county it's always a good idea to stop by Bass Lake. Bass Lake is right by the Wilson Lake Trail, and Big Fork is a great whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Valley River Trail is perfect fun. There's so much to do here at Bass Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Thistledew Campground is a nice place for that.
