     Do take a look at Little Pine Creek Dam since you're here at Bass Lake; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Switzerland Trail. Bass Lake is a good spot of typical rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually June, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Bass Lake has it all. Lake Emily Resort and Campground is a delightful local campground, and  
   dry warm beds await you at Ruttgers Bay Lake Lodge.
You could also stop at Snodgrass Lake if you're here at Bass Lake; it's close by, and Red Door is a great campground nearby. For the period of the summer months highs here at Bass Lake get into the 70's with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 10's with temperatures at Bass Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
 
               Bass Lake is not the only place nearby, Moulton Lake is a nearby lake, and if you need a spot to stay Garrison Inn and Suites is a magnificent choice.
