Lakes are such serene spots, why not go to Little Rice Lake close to Bass Lake, and going for a hike along the Meadow Lake Trail System will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Bass Lake gets very little rain; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Through the       warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 70's at Bass Lake. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 10's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Bass Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. A brilliant close by hotel is Best Western Bemidji Inn, and during your trip here you'll meet some people from Bemidji for sure. All the outdoors cool stuff in the neighborhood of Bass Lake will keep you coming back                  persistently. A great site to camp here at Bass Lake is Hamilton's Fox Lake Campground, and a striking lake like Nebish Lake is a good spot to stop at. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Bel-air Motel, and hey, Gotta ski right?
