Some nearby water includes Sandy River, and Sandy Lake Dam and Lock is a spot that is close to Bass Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Throughout the summer at Bass Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down       to the 10's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Bass Lake drop into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There are great places to discover along the Headboom Logging Trail, and since you're here, you could also have a look at picturesque Big Sandy Lake. Bass Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Big Sandy Camp is a perfect local campground, and after a long day outdoors Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is                  a magnificent place to spend a night or two.
