Barwise Lake is one of the lakes here in the Mesabi Range. This site is unbeatable, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do right next door to Barwise Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Prairie Lake Campground is a nice place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Inn Grand Rapids. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Mesabi Range has to offer. Lakes are wonderful;       Balsam Lake is a lake that's near Barwise Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Skeeter Lake Trail System. Do stop by King Lake Group Lake Outlet Structure Dam if you're here at Barwise Lake, and do take a hike on the Wilson Lake Trail. Barwise Lake is right by the Wasson Lake Trail; after a long day outdoors Country Inn By Carlson Grand Rapids is a good site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Jko Campground                  while you're here at Barwise Lake; drift down the rapids of Big Fork in a kayak. Having a tremendous time in the Mesabi Range is uncomplicated. A normal amount of rain falls here at Barwise Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Barwise Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.
