Barto Lake is right by the Rib Lake Trail; if you get bored of Barto Lake you could also stop by nearby Romp Lake. Stay the night at Baker Lake Campground, and if you need a place to stay Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Lutsen are so inviting nobody can resist. An average amount of rain falls at Barto Lake; most of the rain falls through August, and February is the month with the least moisture.

| | If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Barto Lake. Wince Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Barto Lake; Gneiss Trail is a tremendous local trail. Get drenched paddling on Cross River, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Honeymoon Trail. Sawbill Campground is a good campground nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Tofte, Mn.

of summer highs here at Barto Lake get into the 70's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 10's while Barto Lake overnight low temperatures all through the winter are in the-10's. This
lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Temperance River is so much fun, and the top of Kelso Mountain is easily seen from Barto Lake.
