High temperatures at Barnum Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 10's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Barnum Lake fall into the-10's. Any time is a brilliant time at Barnum Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. You'll need more than a day to discover everything       Barnum Lake has to offer, you can camp at Deer Acres, and Rodeway Inn Pine River is a tremendous place to get some rest. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Barnum Lake; Lake Erin Trail is a tremendous local trail. Why not stop at Bungey Bay also if you're here, and there's delightful hiking along the North Country Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Barnum Lake is close to the national average; all through the month of June you get the most                  rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Barnum Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Austin's Swamp is a glorious place for that; a good close by hotel is Trappers Landing Lodge. Don't leave Barnum Lake without first going for a hike along the Goose Lake Trail System. Lakes are brilliant; Goose Lake is a lake that's close to Barnum Lake.
