During the long summer days, highs regularly are in the 70's at Barnum Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 10's, and night lows at Barnum Lake during the winter ordinarily plunge into the-10's. Barnum Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's       the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Austin's Swamp is always a magnificent experience, and Bungey Bay is around here and always nice to check out. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Barnum Lake; North Country Trail is a nice local trail, and if you need a site to stay Trappers Landing Lodge is a glorious choice. There's great hiking along the Goose Lake Trail System; you're sure to encounter some wonderful people from Brainerd here.                  What a site this is for outdoors folks. A pretty lake like I X L Lake near Barnum Lake is a delightful place to pop by, and Rodeway Inn Pine River is a tremendous spot to get some rest.
