From a rainfall point of view Bannick Lake is a quite common place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Bannick Lake. If you're here at Bannick Lake, do take a journey to Brule Bay; Cascade River is a

Two Island Lake Campground
 | 12 miles away I have only been there in the winter waiting for the mushers to come through (for the Beargease Marathon), it is where I want my ashes to be. I missed one year of the Beargrease race (1998) but the next year I was there at Two Island it was a full moon and it was snowing at the same time, could see down the trail like it was daylight but it was snowing....that was my sign...like I didn't fall in love with it before...this is a beautiful place, small camground but nice in the summer. jkf... |
