A pretty lake like Jaskari Lake close to Bang Lake is a tremendous place to go to, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Carlton, Mn is a great place to spend a night or two. Big Lake Resort is a magnificent local campground, and Americinn - Moose Lake, Mn is a good spot to get some rest. So much amusing stuff close to Bang Lake, clearly impressive. The amount of rainfall that falls at Bang Lake is close to the national average; most of the rain falls during June, and the driest month of the year is February. The top section, from Katherine Lake to Lake Co #2 is an especially wild ride, and I've only done it once, but the drop is incredible, sometimes like a logging flume.... |
