Going for a hike on the Skeeter Lake Trail System is always a wonderful adventure; King Lake Group Lake Outlet Structure Dam is lovely. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Balsam Lake. Camping is available at Prairie Lake Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Wasson Lake Trail. A great place to camp here at Balsam Lake is Jko Campground, and a fine close by hotel is Budget Host       Inn Grand Rapids. Yeah, come up here to the Mesabi Range for a brilliant time. An average amount of rain falls at Balsam Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. All the outdoors exciting things in the Mesabi Range will keep you coming back over and over. This is a tremendous vicinity for folks who like lakes.
