Stay the night at Kawishiwi Lake Campground, and after a long day outdoors Superior Ridge Resort & Motel is a great place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Balmy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sawbill Campground is a pleasant spot for that, and going for a hike on the Kekekabic Trail is always a glorious adventure. From a rainfall point of view Balmy Lake is a pretty common location;       throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. During the summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Balmy Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are typically in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Balmy Lake are in the-10's. There are great spots to discover along the Old Pines Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
