If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Ballyhoo Lake. Hiking along the Gneiss Trail is great fun; if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cross River. Why not camp at Sawbill Campground if you're here at Ballyhoo Lake, and you can have a magnificent hiking       adventure along the Maraboeuf Lake Portage. A common amount of rain falls here at Ballyhoo Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Going for a hike along the Pine Portage will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Kawishiwi Lake Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
