It's always fun to stop by Ballon Lake. Summertime highs at Ballon Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 10's; nighttime lows in the-20's for Ballon Lake. A good place to camp here at Ballon Lake is North Star Campground, and if you need a location to stay Bahr's Motel is a great choice. | | during July while February is frequently the driest month. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Suomi Hills Trail System, and a good close by hotel is White Oak Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Fork, and why not camp at Spider Shores Resort since you're here at Ballon Lake. A lake close by is Adele Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Skeeter Lake Trail System. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. | |
