Around Ballard Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during June this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ballard Lake; Little Scenic Trail is a glorious local trail. At Ballard Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's while nighttime lows       are frequently in the 50's.
