All through the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at Balif Lake while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 10's while the cold winter nights at Balif Lake are in the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Thorhult Waskish Trail is always a wonderful                  adventure, and the wonderful folks of Bemidji like to hang out nearby. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Balif Lake.
