Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Kettle River; Hinckley-Days Inn is a good place to get some rest. Camping is available at Bremen Woods Resort and Campground, and there are brilliant sites to look at along the Giese Truck Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Bald Eagle Lake Dam to stop at near Bald Eagle Lake; a lake close by is Grindstone Lake. Just can't get enough of       Bald Eagle Lake. Camping at Waldheim Resort is always a perfect experience; going for a hike on the Herubin Truck Trail is always a great adventure. Get covered with water paddling on Snake River, and a nice close by hotel is Travelodge Hinckley. Throughout the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Bald Eagle Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the                  10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Bald Eagle Lake.
