Baird Lake gets a common amount of rain; through the month of June you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Kelly Trail is wonderful fun, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Ely Minnesota is a good location to spend a night or two. While you're here at Baird Lake you can take a hike along the       Crooked Lake Trail; dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Motel Ely. There are other places here than Baird Lake, for example Labrador Pond; McDougal Lakes Campground is a magnificent local campground. During the warmest time of the year, highs mostly are in the 70's at Baird Lake. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's.
